About the community

This is our About the community page. This is an independent community site run by Oppkey.  It’s a community site by developers for developers. This is not an official RICOH THETA site. We work at Oppkey, a developer advocacy firm in San Francisco.

Oppkey originally wrote API usage documentation for a RICOH hackathon in San Francisco at TechCrunch Disrupt. We published the documentation as a web site and received many questions about the details. We started a forum to help people share information easily. We have a YouTube channel, a GitHub repository, specialized sites for specific THETA technologies (Linux live streaming, SC2), and a lots more. theta360.guide now receives sponsorship from RICOH, and we report interesting information back to RICOH. We are here to support THETA developers.

This site provides information from the community, about the community, with details on tips and tricks, code snippets, project details, and more. We encourage you to contribute! Questions are welcome.
